It’s all hands on deck for Face Student Ministries in Whitesboro, Texas, and help is coming from everyone. The church is taking up offerings this month to provide movie tickets for every student in town. A man who owns a charter bus company has asked to provide free buses to drive students to the movie 20 miles away. Guys and girls are competing for the most Facebook fans. And students are wearing shirts to school that say “Ask me about seeing TO SAVE A LIFE.” The group is expecting big things as everyone pulls together.

Much of the efforts have been spearheaded by Tom Bilderback. He was moved by the sudden deaths of two students in the community and the power of the movie when he saw an advance showing. “We have had two students die suddenly since Thanksgiving. I heard student after student say ‘I didn’t even know them,’” Tom said. He sees boundless potential for To Save A Life to bring people together. “Parents need to see the movie to help them walk alongside and understand what obstacles we have placed in way of youth in our culture. This movie has the power to connect so many kinds and ages of people.”
